How to migrate to Gizmo

You've made the decision to use Gizmo at your company. Now it's time for a smooth onboarding process.
In this guide, we outline what decisions to make before your Gizmo migration, the pros and cons of each, and how to best prepare your teams for the shift.
Many teams use Gizmo as an opportunity to start fresh with their phone numbers. Many times numbers have been used heavily in subpar systems and are therefore flagged as spam with some or many carriers, so they'll provision brand new numbers for their team.
Other teams will decide to port their existing numbers to Gizmo. Either way, Gizmo has full support and our team will assist in this process. Even if you have a desk-phone setup, those can also be migrated to Gizmo and still take advantage of all of its features.
Teams can choose to use our pre-configured dialing ladder or configure their own custom ladder. The pre-configured ladder has been tested across tens of thousands of leads and proven to increase conversion versus any other system. We recommend using it to start.
You can then create a new, custom dialing ladder with your own custom rules. Changes update in real-time, so you can switch between ladders and monitor the results to your liking.
Gizmo reads all of your settings and templates from Encompass, meaning there is zero duplicate entry or setup in Gizmo. All you have to do is enable the integration in your settings and enter your Instance ID.
Once that is done, your team will instantly benefit from:
Loan program templates
When pulling credit in Gizmo, your team will see your configured loan program templates to choose from. Their selection will be used when Gizmo auto-exports to Encompass.
State licensing synchronization
State licenses are automatically synced from Encompass to Gizmo and vice-versa. When making lead-routing decisions Gizmo will use your existing license set and keep it up-to-date automatically.
Closing cost templates
Gizmo will automatically sync your closing cost templates from Encompass to Gizmo. This ensures that your team always has the most up-to-date closing costs at their fingertips.
Gizmo Talk is a browser extension that allows your team to make and receive calls high-quality calls from Gizmo.
It can be accessed using this link and installed in one click. Once installed, your team is able to dial and make calls from Gizmo.
In each users settings, they will find a section to enter their Hard Pull and Soft Pull credentials to pull credit. Gizmo supports more than 40 credit agencies and has 100% support for any credit agency supported by Encompass.
Gizmo Calendar is a drop-in replacement for Calendly that is deeply integrated with Gizmo CRM. You'll want to enable this in your admin settings, choose a "slug" for your organization and probably upload your organization logo.
This ensures when your team schedules appointments or borrowers book with your team, they see your organization's branding on every piece of communication.
As a final step, add your lead providers in your settings. Unlike other platforms, there is no field mapping or configuration required. Gizmo uses AI to automatically map fields from any lead provider. As you add each provider, you'll be given a posting URL that you can forward to your rep at each lead provider.
Once you have confirmation from each provider that they have updated your posting URL, you are live and ready to go. Leads will be coming into Gizmo and your team can simply press play to begin dialing through them according to your dialing ladder.
